The Air Operations committee is responsible for
the content and safety of the air show. During the months leading up to
the show this committee is busy deciding on which performers we will
have, lobbying the Military around the world to send us their military
aircraft, and working with Military regulators, Nav Canada and
Transport Canada to ensure the show meets or exceeds all the safety
guidelines and regulations that apply to air shows in Canada. During
the actual practice and show times Air Operations acts as controller to
ensure aircraft are kept at a safe distance and monitor the aircraft to
ensure that safety is never compromised and all regulations are adhered
to.
